'How are you doing dispatch?'
The familiar voice of injured firefighter George Copeland, speaking on a two-way radio from his hospital bed, boomed across Windsor Fire and Rescue airwaves about three weeks ago, bringing his colleagues to their feet.
That emotional greeting was more than just a boost for the fire department. It was a prelude to a major milestone in Copeland's slow but determined recovery."
