Kansas Firefighter Dies in Crash of Personal Vehicle - Firehouse.com In The Line Of Duty:
"ROSE HILL, KAN. -- An aspiring volunteer firefighter died Friday night while responding to a house fire in his personal vehicle.
When Brandon Daley, 19, a member of Rose Hill Volunteer Fire Company, missed the first due engine, he decided not to wait for the next truck, said Lt. Tim Linot, of Butler County Fire District #3.
At the entrance to the gated community where the fire was located, Daley lost control of his pickup truck. He was ejected as it overturned several times.
He was rushed to Kansas Medical Center where he died a short time later of injuries sustained in the crash."
