Mongo Carries The Author

Talk about a dangerous pastime! Here's the author showing up for duty at #2 Station with Mongo as my chauffeur. The "Hairy One" insisted that he sit for awhile and rest his calloused feet for a spell.
As I look back on this photo taken around 1990 I can see that Mongo has aged very well except for some gray hair here and there. I guess that's why most of the guys in the stations refer to him as "Silverback" now and again.
